Rhonda Missikewitz, BSc.PT, GunnIMS, CPMA Physiotherapist / Owner
Born and raised in the big city of Calgary, I always wanted to live in a small town. So after obtaining my Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Alberta in 1996, I tried out a few small Alberta and BC towns before my husband and I settled in Stettler in 2001. Before and between my first and second maternity leaves I worked at both the Hospital and the Private Practice in town. They were both fantastic work environments full of great people that are still friends today! However, my heart was always happiest in a private practice setting, so when I was ready to return to work after my second mat leave, and the Stettler Physiotherapy and Acupuncture Clinic had closed, I decided to fill the void and open a small part time private practice of my own. After my third maternity leave, I was forced into a larger and higher rent location, requiring full time business hours. With three littles and a full time coaching job with the Stettler Figure Skating Club, help was clearly required. From there, doors continued to open, bringing new opportunities, new people and new ideas. As an athlete, coach and physiotherapist, I have always been an advocate of multi-disciplinary health care and teamwork, and am therefore always looking for ways to offer more services in one location. I spent most of my childhood training as a competitive athlete in a private sports club, where I was blessed with a sense of community that supported health and fitness in an inclusive family friendly environment. These are the roots that have grown Performance into what it is today. Along the way, my professional interests have grown, leading me to many post-graduate continuing education courses in a wide variety of topics. I completed Level 4 of the Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Therapy in 2003 and became a Certified Practitioner of Medical Acupuncture (CPMA) in 2006. I have been rostered as a Pelvic Floor physiotherapist since 2008 and attained my Certificate in Gunn Intramuscular Dry Needling (GunnIMS) in 2011. When not at work, I still love traveling, outdoor activities and deep conversations with friends and family.

Nicholas Yorgason, DPT, BSc, FDN, SDN, AA1 & AA2, SFMA Physiotherapist
I grew up in rural southern Alberta and my childhood consisted of every sport I could possibly play including Hockey, Baseball, Golf, Soccer, Rugby, Volleyball, Basketball, and Track and Field. After High School I earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at the University of Lethbridge in 2014 and a Doctor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne, Australia in 2018. While working with semi-professional sports teams in Australia I discovered a passion for helping individuals lead and/or return to an active lifestyle. My treatment approach to help an individual includes hands on manual therapy, needling (acupuncture, functional and superficial dry needling) and exercise prescription utilizing specific movement assessments such as the Selective Functional Movement Screen. Prior to joining Performance in 2022, I worked alongside the Doctors and Surgeons at the Brent Sutter Sports Medicine Clinic, Central Alberta Orthopedics. From this experience I gained an extensive knowledge base in managing sports injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation. In the short time I've been at Performance, I have already enjoyed treating local athletes competing (and winning!) at the provincial level in golf, ball and hockey! If I am not at the clinic, in the summer you can find me out on the golf course, and in the winter, I’ll be by a fireplace trying to keep warm.

Rebecca Dyck, MScPT, BSc Physiotherapist
I was born and raised in a small town in Alberta. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education at the University of Alberta in 2018 and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2020. I completed both programs from my home in Camrose where U of A ran a 'rural campus'. Before becoming a physical therapist, I worked for many years as a Certified Group Fitness Instructor, and before that, a nanny! With deep roots in rural Alberta and a passion for people and exercise, I joined Performance Health and Fitness Centre in 2020. I am passionate about helping people feel better, and am known to get more excited than my patients when they gain strength and range! When I’m not at work, I can be found (trying to keep warm) with my loved ones, both two and four legged! (Becca is currently on maternity leave with her beautiful new daughter, Nora)

Emma Graham, BScPT, CAFCI Physiotherapist
I was born and bred in Glasgow, Scotland and moved to Alberta in 2013. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy at Glasgow Caledonian University in 2012 and joined Performance Health and Fitness Centre in 2014. I successfully completed my acupuncture certification (CAFCI) in 20??, and am making very good use of that at Performance. I have also completed postgraduate training in Sports Massage, TX Sports Medicine Rehabilitation, and the McKenzie Method for treating neck and back pain. My clients have commented that my professional quiet disposition makes them feel very well looked after. Since joining the Performance team, I have also become a mother of two girls. When not caring for clients or my family, I can be found loving on horses or curled up on the sofa with a hot cup of tea! (Emma is currently on maternity leave with her newest addition, Brea!)

Grace Sorensen, RMT Massage Therapist
I grew up in the Stettler area on my family farm and was an active member in the Byemoor 4-H Beef Club for 9 years, establishing my love for farming. I graduated as a Registered Massage Therapist at the Alberta Institute of Massage in Red Deer in June 2015. I enjoy providing a wide range of services from deep tissue and therapeutic massage to manual lymphatic drainage and dynamic cupping (silicone cups). In 2020 I successfully completed a Certificate in Graston technique, which my clients claim is a very helpful tool for getting to the spots that feel too deep to reach. It is great for stubborn scar tissue as well. Outside of Performance, I have taken extra courses for cattle artificial insemination and preg testing as I love my cows as much as my clients!

Taryn Fletcher, Bkin, BSc Kinesiology Personal Trainer / PT Assistant
I grew up just down the road, in Castor, where I participated in a variety of sports initiating my love for health and fitness. I earned a Diploma in Kinesiology / Adapted Physical Education at Red Deer Polytechnic (then College) in 2017, and then completed a BSc in Kinesiology at the University of Alberta in 2019. I love the variety of work I do at Performance, both helping the physiotherapists and clients on the clinic side as well as working with clients in the gym in a personal training capacity. Instructing PRIME (our strength training for seniors) is one of the highlights of my week. (Taryn is currently on maternity leave with the newest man in her life, Tate!)

Jonathan Fuller, BSc Kinesiology, MScPT
I grew up in rural Alberta and completed a BSc in Kinesiology in 2014 and then a MSc in Physical Therapy in 2018 both at the University of Alberta. I have since completed postgraduate courses in concussion rehabilitation, and knee and hip osteoarthritis. I have a passion for exercise, health, and fitness and love to share it with people through teaching, treating and as a personal trainer. When not at work, I like spending time with friends and family, working out, or running long distances in the Stettler, Lacombe, and Red Deer areas. In the past few years I've completed the Bob Marshall Trail 50K, Canadian Death Race (125K Mountain Run), Iron Legs (100K) and the Bowron Lake Circuit (canoeing). I've enjoyed helping others to train for ultra events such as the Death Race (Mountain Run) and the Camino de Santiago (pilgrim walk ending in Spain).

Marina Aicken, SLP-A PT Assistant
I have worked part-time at the Performance Health & Fitness Centre since 2021. As well as being a Physiotherapy Assistant I also work as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant at local schools. I hold Diplomas in Speech-Language Pathology and teaching English as a Second Language, and a Bachelor of Arts specializing in Music Pedagogy. My husband, three kids and I have called Stettler home since 2016 and have found it a great place to raise a family. When I'm not taxiing kids around to all their activities I love to read, bike, cook, and have adventures in the great outdoors.

Rebecca Bridge, PT Assistant and RMT Student
I am a born and raised local girl. I started my hockey career in Stettler and eventually moved to play at a high level in Red Deer and even a year in Boston. My hockey career has created a big passion for sports therapy and helping athletes get back to the best they can be. I have completed my first year in the massage therapy program and am continuing in my second year at the Alberta College of Massage Therapy in Red Deer. As a student therapist I am constantly learning new techniques and skills to help people’s aches and pains. I enjoy working as a PT assistant and gaining experience as a student massage therapist at Performance. I love spending time outdoors, hiking and camping with my fiancee and my dog.

Melissa Bolin, DipKin, STOTT PILATES Matwork and Reformer
I was born in Dauphin, Manitoba and moved to Alberta in 2006 where I graduated with a Diploma in Kinesiology through Red Deer College in 2008. I completed my certified Personal Trainer course through the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiologists in 2009 and became a STOTT PILATES Certified Instructor through the Calgary Pilates Centre in 2011. I have continued my education over the years by completing my Total Body Joint Mobility & Kettlebells Certification through Agatsu and I stay up to date and motivated through ongoing yearly Pilates education and training. As a mom to three boys, I wear many hats, and can be seen in the park or mountains with my family, behind the desk, managing the clinic and training clients!
