The Centre

Performance Health and Fitness Centre is a well-established busy private physiotherapy that has been serving the Stettler region for over 18 years. In 2010 the clinic was expanded to include a state of the art 24hr Fitness Centre with a vast array of commercial equipment which has proved very popular.

The Staff Team

The Centre is run by a small knit, friendly, enthusiastic and dynamic multi-disciplinary team of professionals dedicated to providing high quality care to our clients. Performance provides a wide scope of practice and a broad range of experiences that the city can’t offer. We welcome onto our staff team both experienced and newly qualified graduates.

We currently have 2 physiotherapists, 2 massage therapists, 3 kinesiologists and 2 physiotherapy assistants.

The Centre is committed to the professional development of each member of staff, enabling them to excel in their chosen career.

Performance provides much opportunity for support and a collaborative team environment for continued learning. Our team includes both young, passionate professionals as well as more senior providers, each with individual areas of interest and further education. These include pelvic health, GunnIMS, TCM acupuncture, manual and sports therapy, ergonomics, STOTT Pilates, Mulligan, McKenzie techniques and more.

Our owner operated private practice offers the opportunity to treat and develop the programs you feel necessary for the best outcomes for your clients. If you can dream it, you can do it.

Performance Health & Fitness Centre is nestled in the Heart of Alberta with Red Deer, Calgary and Edmonton just a few hours drive away. Stettler has a welcoming small town feel that makes it a great place to raise a family and call home. Performance allows for a wonderful work life balance with flexible hours, and supportive family-like co-workers.

In addition to excellent earning potential, we offer no micro-management, a health care benefit plan, an annual education allowance, complimentary membership to the fitness centre and a significant discount on massages.

We have an excellent working relationship with local physicians and other health care providers. We treat private pay, MVA, and worker's compensation clients, with opportunities to contract out to a local rural Health Care Center and neighboring schools.
